Ben Affleck is Batman and Man of Steel 2 Release Date
So, the fine folks behind the DC Comics cinematic universe have added the one and only Ben Affleck to their roster of talent as the caped crusader himself, Mr. Bruce Wayne aka Batman. Originally, he was rumored to be a candidate to direct the eventual Justice League movie which would be a great choice, but putting him in the role of Batman just doesn't make sense to me.
In related news, Man of Steel 2 or Batman vs. Superman, or whatever its going to be called will officially be released on July 17th. 2015.

Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters - Movie Review
Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters is directed by a man named Thor who has previously made movies about a wimpy kid and a hotel for dogs. Sounds legit, right? This sequel to the not so successful first installment of the Percy Jackson franchise features acting performances (sort of) by Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, and Leven Rambin. Okay, we also get Stanley Tucci and Nathan Fillion just so there's at least a couple people you may have heard of before.

Kristin Scott Thomas, Vithaya Pansringarm, and Yayaying Rhatha Phongam star alongside Gosling in this beautifully shot crime thriller that explores the brutality of the Bangkok underworld.
