X-Men Apocalypse, directed by Bryan Singer, sees Professor X's mutant band of heroes face off against an unstoppable foe who just happens to be the original, most historical mutant of all time. The movie features an all star cast including Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Evan Peters, Sophie Turner, Lucas Till, and Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Hugh Jackman.

The Disappointments Room - Movie Review

The Disappointments Room is not a good movie and I can not recommend it to anyone. Nothing about the story, the visuals, or the editing made any sense at all. Kate Beckinsale must have either been contractually obligated to be in this movie or she lost a bet.

Stoker - Movie Review

Director Chan-wook Park is known for creating scenes filled with stark images that are in direct contrast with the stories that fall more into a film noir sensibility. Stoker is a tale of revenge filled with so many twists and turns, you may not realize who's out to get who until its too late.
Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, Jacki Weaver, and Matthew Goode star in one of the stranger movies you will see this year.

Battle: Los Angeles - Movie Review

Columbia Pictures seemed to be taking a chance by using a young, unproven director in Jonathan Liebesman to create a movie that would tell a very unique science fiction story without the help of any big name, box office stars. Utilizing a raw, documentary-like film making style to show how a single military squad would perform during an alien invasion, Battle Los Angeles attempts to take viewers right in to the middle of dramatic moments and intense battle scenes.

X-Men: First Class - Movie Review

With Matthew Vaughn taking over the X-Men franchise, people were wondering what to expect from the man most people only knew as the guy who had directed "Kick-Ass" which, to me is one of the best super her movies ever made. If nothing else, audience could be assured that this would be a whole new direction for the mutant anti-heroes.
