Off the Menu: Asian America is an official selection of the 2016 Seattle Asian American Film Festival. Directed by Grace Lee (The Grace Lee Project, American Zombie), presents a journey through American food culture and how traditional Asian cuisine has both influenced and been influenced by different parts of the country.

Top Spin is a documentary feature film created by co directors Sara Newens and Mina T. Son. The film, an official and opening night selection of the 2016 Seattle Asian American Film Festival, focuses on three amateur table tennis players on their journey to compete in the 2012 Olympic games .

2015 Recap - Performances


2015 was filled with great acting performances from both festival films and mainstream releases so it was pretty difficult to narrow it down to what I considered to be the most entertaining out of the bunch. The crowd was filled with recognizable leading men and it was also nice to see so many strong roles for women, it looks like more and more are coming over the next several years.
