Marvel Studios Announces Avengers Release Schedule

Marvel Studios has been filling up the Hollywood release calendar as far ahead as 2016 and they have now confirmed a couple more dates for Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe which primarily features characters from The Avengers franchise.

Robert Downey Jr Back for More Avengers

Marvel movie fans around the world can now breathe a collective sigh of relief as Mr. Robert Downey Jr has officially signed on to play Tony Stark aka Iron Man in both The Avengers 2 and The Avengers 3.

Iron Man 3 - Movie Review

Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is officially underway with the release of Iron Man 3 as Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Don Cheadle all return to the franchise that started it all. Shane Black has taken over directing duties while Guy Pearce, Ben Kingsley, and Rebecca Hall have all been added to the star studded cast.

Thor: The Dark World Poster Release!

Have you seen the new poster for Thor: The Dark World? It features Chris Hemsworth posing as the God of Thunder with his trusty hammer in hand. Are you excited to see the movie when it comes out in November? Hopefully there is some truth to the rumor that the first trailer will be shown in front of Iron Man 3 next month.

The movie will be released on November 8th, 2013 by Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios and stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Kat Dennings, and Tom Hiddleston and is being directed by Alan Taylor. With Phase One of Marvel's Cinematic Universe officially in the books and after the unexpected success of The Avengers, the heads at Marvel are now moving full steam ahead on the next set of superhero movies that will be released over the next couple years.
