Avengers: Endgame - Spoiler Free First Impression


Avengers: Endgame is the culmination of over ten years worth of movies set within Marvel's ongoing and ever expanding cinematic universe. Pretty much every significant or semi significant character from all those years is involved in some way shape or form in bringing this story to its ultimate conclusion. The words I will have typed below are not my official review of the movie and do not contain any hint of a spoiler so please feel safe to proceed if you haven't watched the movie yet.

Ant-Man - Movie Review


Marvel, the studio that brought you "The Avengers", is back with a tiny little film called Ant-Man which was brought to the screen by director Peyton Reed. The movie features a cast that includes Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll. Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Michael Peña, T.I., David Dastmalchian, Hayley Atwell, John Slattery, Martin Donovan, and Abby Ryder Fortson.

This teaser poster has been out for a while although it is now time for Marvel Studios to kick the marketing campaign into high gear so now we have some new ones to look at. You will notice the campaign is looking to build awareness of how Ant-Man is part of the MCU and will ultimately be joining up with all the Avengers we have known and loved for some time now.

IMAX Announces Deal with Avengers: Infinity War


Marvel Studios and IMAX made a big announcement today regarding how Avengers: Infinity War parts I and II will be filmed. Joe and Anthony Russo, the co-directors of the forthcoming installments of the blockbuster Avengers franchise will be taking movie making to new heights by using some really cool, new technology. Ant-Man - Trailer Debut


Here it is, the first official trailer for Marvel Studios' Ant-Man which stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Pena, John Slattery, Judy Greer, and Hayley Atwell. I love how this trailer really sets the tone for what is sure to be a very entertaining heist movie that will be big on action yet will also have some comedic elements thrown in for good measure.

Marvel's Avengers at Comicon


Marvel Studios always seems to know how to create a crowd pleasing product and their appearance in the famous Hall H at this year's San Diego Comic Convention was certainly no exception. Comicon is always a time for studious to make a big splash with their upcoming movies and Avengers: Age of Ultron is at or near the top of everyone's list of newsworthy titles.

Hey everyone, before we get started, I just wanted to give a shout out to Nerdlush and Lifted Geek for featuring this review on their websites. Marvel Studios continues the expansion of its super hero universe with Captain America: The Winter Soldier, an espionage thriller that is set up to change everything we know about the inner workings of the government agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Chris Evans returns in the title role and we also see newcomers Anthony Mackie and Robert Redford in addition to familiar faces like Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan and Cobie Smulders.

The God of Thunder returns to save the day in Thor: The Dark World but an ancient evil may be too much for even the mightiest of warriors to handle on his own. Chris Hemsworth returns as the hammer wielding Avenger along with Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Kat Denning, Anthony Hopkins, and Stellan Skarsgård. Alan Taylor, best known for his work in Game of Thrones, takes over the director's chair from Kenneth Branagh who originally brought Thor to the big screen.

Captain America - The Winter Soldier Poster Release


The marketing campaign for Captain America: The Winter Soldier has officially begun with the release of the first "teaser" poster. Disney and Marvel Studios will no doubt be dishing out a steady diet of images, trailers, and just about everything else over the next 8 months leading up to the movie's release. For now, this is all we get.
