So, this is my first time covering the Ithaca Fantastik festival and I have to say it looks pretty freaking amazing. Packed with movies, music, and art, the ten day festival features "the most exciting and intriguing, mind-bending, beautiful, and flat out weird films from domestic and international filmmakers." The 2018 Portland Film Festival is here! This is my fourth year covering the PDX's largest film festival and it has become one of my favorites because of the wide variety of movies that are available, a lot of which you won't be able to see anywhere else. For Portland film lovers, this is always a highlight of the year and there are several films I am really hoping to see.

GeekGirlCon is now in its eighth year of providing a home for diversity and inclusion not just for women and girls, but for anyone who wants to celebrate what it means to be part of this wonderful culture. The creators and curators of this celebratory convention take great care in making sure that every single person feels welcome with an extra emphasis on creating an experience that women of all ages will never forget.

GeekGirlCon will take place the weekend of October 27th and 28th at the Washington State Convention Center. This article highlights some of the events, vendors, and panels you won't want to miss.

TwoOhSix Recap - 2018 North Bend Film Festival

The fine folks who put on this brand spanking new film festival did a bang up job and left me fully entertained during the time I was able to attend. With a Lynchian lineup of off the wall offerings including feature films, short film blocks, a virtual reality experience, and a literal reality experience (hiking excursion) there was no shortage of unique ways to be entertained.
