So, this is my first time covering the Ithaca Fantastik festival and I have to say it looks pretty freaking amazing. Packed with movies, music, and art, the ten day festival features "the most exciting and intriguing, mind-bending, beautiful, and flat out weird films from domestic and international filmmakers." Since I am covering the festival from home, my focus is on the films and I have chosen ten selections to be labeled as my "TwoOhSix Picks" for the 2018 Ithaca Fantastik Film Festival.

A film festival entirely dedicated to horror movies is definitely right up my dark, deserted, scary looking alley so I was super excited for an opportunity to cover the 2018 Brooklyn Horror Film Festival. Even while sticking to this one genre, the festival programmers managed to select a wide variety of films from all over the world which allowed for a very unique and diverse experience.
