V/H/S 2 (SIFF 2013) - Movie Review

VHS 2 is the follow up to the original film that became an instant cult classic and promises to be even scarier than its predecessor. The first VHS movie created a new twist on the found footage sub genre of horror movies by compiling several short films into one feature length movie with an overarching storyline that ties the whole thing together.

The East (SIFF 2013) - Movie Review

Teddy Bears (SIFF 2013) - Movie Review

Teddy Bears is a movie written, produced, and directed, by Thomas Beatty (along with co-director Rebecca Fishman) and features a relatively unknown cast including David Krumholtz, Melanie Lynskey, and Ahna O'Reilly as well as Beatty's own father, Ned Beatty. Either way, Epic does fit in nicely as a kid friendly tale that contains a not so subtle message about protecting forests and having respect for nature. Twentieth Century Fox Animation continues its long time collaboration with director Chris Wedge (Ice Age, Robots) and assembles an all star cast including Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson, and Christoph Waltz.
