An Unquiet Grave - 2020 Nightstream Film Festival Movie Review

The Movie: An Unquiet Grave

The Director: Terence Krey

The Cast: Jacob A. Ware, Christine Nyland

The Story: A year after the death of his wife, a man enlists her sister to help him bring her back.

The Review:
This film is a really dark and dreary journey through one man's struggles with wanting to bring his wife back from the dead. At the expense of his ex wife's twin sister. Most of this movie is conversation between the man and the sister and it honestly wears thin pretty quick and nothing else really happened. From the premise, I was expecting this to be some type of supernatural horror film with all kinds of thrills and chills and, if lucky, a fair amount of blood being splattered all over the place. Nope.

Sadly, I did not enjoy this movie as nothing really happens. While the run time is mercifully short, I felt like everything that happened during that time could have happened in 30 minutes and then the fun horror stuff would start. Nope. In an ever increasing supply of horror movies that come in all shapes and sizes, you have to make a movie that stands out and this one did none of that. Maybe cutting it down to a short film would be a good way to go but as is, this was not worth the time and effort of watching it.
