The Story: A young Flemish couple travels to an inexpensive Eastern European plastic surgery clinic.
The Review:
If you are the type of movie goer that enjoys blood and guts and entrails and more blood and exploding body parts and random gratuitous nudity then this is the movie for you. The setup is pretty standard with a flesh eating zombie outbreak stemming from illegal hospital experiments but the lack of originality takes nothing away from the overall entertainment value. The film makers find ways to be unpredictable while sticking to a reliable formula for success.
I don't know, there really isn't a lot to say about the movie, it is definitely everything you are expecting it to be and I mean that in a good way. The ending is actually pretty great and there's a couple last minute twists that add to the shock value and fun factor. Of course, this wouldn't be a zombie movie if it didn't end with the possibility that this might just be the beginning and not the end of this particular outbreak. Overall I was happy with the movie and would definitely recommend it to fans of the genre..
