The Review:
Well, that was certainly a movie. The whole thing is sort of a patchwork of ideas from other movies that are all put together with duct tape and rubber bands. I had to give this movie a shot for a couple different reasons, first and foremost being that it is a 100% science fiction movie that is all about shooting things and blowing stuff up so no matter how bad or cheesy it might be, it is at least going to get a look. Also, the poster which features Bruce Willis and Frank Grillo is one of the cheesiest movie posters I have seen in some time and that's not really a complaint but it is what it is.

The other deciding factor was when I learned the CJ Perry is in the movie as a super badass sniper and if you don't recognize that name, WWE fans will better know her as Lana, the blonde bombshell who has slowly been climbing the ranks of the women's division's top contenders. The movie itself isn't far off from a wrestling style battle royal, just with Halo style armor and lots of guns instead of wrestling tights and steel chairs. Again, not a complaint, I've been a big WWE fan for years so fake fighting and bad dialog don't really bother me.

Is this a good movie? Depends on what you consider to be a good movie, I guess. If you're down with some low budget science fiction with bad dialog and a story that doesn't make a whole lot of sense, then you'' probably be okay. This movie is on par with something you might find on SyFy channel late at night or deep down in the depths of Netflix's library, you know the movies that you accidentally stumble upon because they never show up in any recommendations.

The Verdict:
Cosmic Sin is a straight to VHS quality science fiction film that just happens to have a couple big names on the poster. It's not a terrible movie, I was able to sit through the whole thing, but I also wouldn't call it a good movie by an stretch of the imagination.
