Yelp Seattle Review of the Day!

Yelp is a great website for reading and posting reviews of businesses and also offers a great social network with fun events hosted by Yelp and its community members. Each and every day, one user-written review receives the honor of being named as the 'Review of the Day' and is featured on the front page of the website.

Today, I have the good fortune of receiving my eighth Review of the Day and below is a screen shot of this glorious moment. Thank you Yelp!

2012 is officially in the books and it was yet another a great year for movies of shapes and sizes. In the past, I have created a Facebook "Question" and sent invites to all of our followers to submit their answers. Facebook recently took away the invite feature in favor of giving Page owners the option to pay cash money to promote these types of posts to the people who have already said they want to see these posts by liking the page. Les Misérables - Movie Review

Les Misérables, adapted from one of the most popular musicals ever created, is a movie that fans will adore as all of the appropriate notes are hit (pun intended) by Oscar winning director Tom Hooper and a cast filled with superstar talent. The original story comes from the Victor Hugo novel of the same name which was written in 1862 and is widely considered one of the greatest novels of its time.

Django Unchained - Movie Review

Following the outrageous success of his revenge fantasy, Inglourious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino now gives us another tale of redemption starring Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio in Django Unchained. I will admit, I was a late comer to the Tarantino bandwagon compared to most other people that follow his work. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed Pulp Fiction the first time I saw it, but it wasn't until Kill Bill Volumes 1 and 2 that I really became a fan of his unique way of creating movies that simultaneously honor cinema's rich history while pushing the boundaries of what is creatively possible.
