TwoOhSix Recap - 2018 North Bend Film Festival
The fine folks who put on this brand spanking new film festival did a bang up job and left me fully entertained during the time I was able to attend. With a Lynchian lineup of off the wall offerings including feature films, short film blocks, a virtual reality experience, and a literal reality experience (hiking excursion) there was no shortage of unique ways to be entertained. During the four day event, I had the fine fortune of taking in several of the feature films and have compiled them in this very post for your perusing pleasure..

TwoOhSix Recap: 2018 Seattle International Film Festival

Twenty five festival days, forty one movies, four interviews, and countless kernels of popcorn. Covering my home town film festival is always a major highlight of my year. Being immersed in film, film fans, and film makers is an experience well worth the late nights, popcorn dinners, and utter exhaustion by the time it's all said and done. This recap includes four sections: capsule reviews, full reviews, interviews, and my top ten favorite films from this year's festival.

TwoOhSix Interviews - Director Pascal Plante at SIFF 2018
Talking to film makers is probably the most fun and rewarding part of covering film festivals because they are always so passionate about their projects and you just feel the love and creative energy pouring out of them during the interview. Pascal Plante, director of Fake Tattoos, is a prime example of that and he gave some brilliant insight into what it took to make this wonderful film.
