John Carter - Movie Review

Disney is hoping that "John Carter" will be a very successful and popular movie that can then become a franchise with the potential for several future installments. Based on a story that has a very rich history as a series of science fiction novels written by Edgar Rice Burroughs, this movie is based on the first novel which was titled "Princess of Mars".

The Woman in Black - Movie Review

The big story about this movie is whether or not Daniel Radcliffe can break away from the character he's played for most of his life and be able to take on other roles in a believable manner. I suppose the fact that I have even brought this up may provide some answer to that question.

The Debt - Movie Review

The debt is a classic tale of espionage and intrigue set primarily in 1960's Berlin and is full of suspense along with several surprising twists and turns. You have three reluctant but extremely dedicated heroes and their brilliantly mad adversary who is at times on the level of Hannibal Lechter when it comes to creepy villainy. I enjoyed watching this movie as it doesn't try to force feed the story to the audience and also does a great job of weaving through plot lines that are revealed over two different time lines.
