2016 Seattle Asian American Film Festival Recap

This was my first time either attending the Seattle Asian American Film Festival and I was very impressed with the three days of programming that was put together by the all volunteer staff. Every film that I saw played to a packed house at Seattle's Northwest Film Forum and the entire event was very well organized from ticket sales to post screening Q&A sessions. The Real Miyagi (SAAFF 2016) - Documentary Review

The Real Miyagi is a feature documentary film written and directed by Kevin Derek and is an official selection of the 2016 Seattle Asian American Film Festival. The documentary features interviews with the film's subject, karate master Fumio Demura, as well as Steven Segal, Billy Blanks, Dolph Lundgren, T.J. Storm, Michael Jai White, Tamlyn Tomita, and Mr. Miyagi himself, Pat Morita.
