Tokyo Drifter - Northwest Film Forum's Seijun Suzuki Retrospective



Recently, I had a chance to see Seijun Suzuki's classic stylized thriller Tokyo Drifter at Seattle's Northwest Film Forum as they prepared to show this and other films directed by Mr. Suzuki as part of a Seijun Suzuki Retrospective film series. You can see Tokyo Drifter at the Northwest Film Form's Capitol Hill theaters on Wednesday May 4th at 7:30pm.

Drawing the Tiger (LSFF 2015) - Documentary Review



Drawing the Tiger, directed by Amy Benson and Scott Squire, is an official selection of the 2015 Local Sightings Film Festival which is produced by Seattle's Northwest Film Forum. This documentary feature follows a family in Nepal over the course of several years as they try to build a better life yet find themselves constantly struggling just to survive.

TwoOhSix Picks: 2015 "Local Sightings" Film Festival



Local Sightings is the only festival dedicated to showcasing the best in Northwest regional films. Taking place Sept. 24-Oct.3 at Northwest Film Forum, the lineup will include the premieres of 15 feature films and over 50 shorts from up-and-coming directors from Alaska to Oregon. The full schedule was recently released and I have chosen the films you do not want to miss.
