2016 Emerald City Comicon: TwoOhSix Artist and Exhibitor Picks - ECCC Coverage

With an amazing roster of comic guests, entertainment guests, literary guests, artists, exhibitors, and so much more to look at, find, and discover while walking the show floor at the 2016 Emerald City Comicon, it seems almost impossible to get to know them all. After some careful browsing, perusing, selecting, and narrowing, I have come up with a list of the twelve artists and exhibitors I am most excited to check out including one that I have selected as my "Artist Spotlight" for 2016.

I had an opportunity to check out Jayme Twins Art last year at GeekGirlCon and am very excited that they will be able to show off their stuff during the 2016 Emerald City Comicon. One of the highlights of Jemely and Jeremy Jayme's work is a collection called "The Darkroom Series" which features a very unique look at the classic and iconic Wonder Woman character and they will actually be debuting new entries into the series featuring both Harry Potter and Indiana Jones! Also, look for new prints featuring Rey, Supergirl, and all kinds of fun stuff that I'm sure you'll want to have hanging on your walls.

You will find Jayme Twins Art at the "A Cosmic Alliance" booth, number 2209.

Now for my list of other artists and exhibitors that made the cut for this year's edition of my artist and exhibitor picks. Click on a name and the link will take you to the artist or exhibitor's page on the Emerald City Comicon website.

Amy Chu - Booth J14
Writer for DC, Vertigo, Marvel, IDW and more, including: Poison Ivy, Ant-Man, Deadpool, X-Files. Such an accomplished artist needs to be in the spotlight! Looking forward to saying hello and taking a look at her latest work.

Cathair Apocalypse - Booth 1237
A tongue-in-cheek melodrama where humans are extinct and cats have risen to rule the Earth. This is Flash's official selection for the 2016 Emerald City Comicon!

Faith Erin Hicks - Booth I-4
Eisner Award-winning graphic novelist will be debuting her new graphic novel, The Nameless City  at the ECCC Artists Alley as well as being on several panels about craft, young adult comics, and strong female characters.

John Giang - Booth R4, R5
Has done work for Marvel Studios, Bay Films, Paramount, Disney, Lucasfilm, Legendary, Lego, and Hasbro. I have purchased prints from Mr. Giang in the past and they are easily some of the coolest and most noticeable items hanging on my walls. Definitely check his stuff out!

Kevin Konrad Hanna - Booth Y7
An American film director, writer, and artist best known for directing the animated film, "Clockwork Girl". You know me and movies so this caught my attention right away.

Megan Missfit - Booth E6
A self taught artist based in the Seattle area. Gotta love that local flavor, can't wait to see what our resident Missfit has in store for this year's comicon!

Superherostuff.com- Booth 616
The largest selection of super hero, sci fi, and pop culture apparel this side of the Multiverse! I seem to always find the best t-shirts here over anywhere else at the convention. Great deals, too!

The Geeky Hostess - Booth 209
Geeky baking and entertaining supplies! Featuring sprinkles, sparkling sugars, tea, cupcake liners, aprons, and more. Just thinking about her stuff is making me hungry!

The Valkyries - Booth DD2
We are the 550+ women behind the counters of comic shops worldwide. Owners, managers, salespeople, event organizers and more!

Handmade Japanese prints, featuring modern game and comic characters. Can't wait to see some of this artwork in person. So many unique and beautiful looking pieces!

Weta Workshop - Booth 2202
Best known for design and practical effects work on films including The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, King Kong and Avatar. Do I really need to say anything else?
