Welcome to my official Seattle International Film Festival picks for 2014. These are all of the movies I hope to see in the various SIFF theaters over the course of the four week festival and I hope you have a chance to see some of them as well.

Seattle International Film Festival - The Opening Night Experience

To begin my second year covering the Seattle International Film Festival, I chose to take in all the glitz and glamour of the Opening Night Gala as a ticket holder rather than as a member of the press. What an amazing evening it turned out to be with some big announcements, a locally flavored movie premiere, and an after party that capped off a celebration worthy of the festival's 40th year of operation.

Neighbors - Movie Review

Neighbors is a movie that puts a family to the test against a fraternity in an all out battle to see who will rule the neighborhood. Seth Rogen and Zac Efron match wits in this comedic adventure directed by Nicholas Stoller. Rose Byrne, Dave Franco, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jerrod Carmichael, and Ike Barinholtz are also featured in the movie.

The Amazing Spider Man 2 - Movie Review

The Amazing Spider Man 2 picks up the adventures of Peter Parker roughly where the previous installment left off. It was directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, and Sally Field.
