World War Z - Movie Review

World War Z is loosely based on the wildly popular novel of the same name which was written by Max Brooks who just happens to be the son of famous director Mel Brooks. That little known fact doesn't really have anything to do with the movie, but I thought it was cool and worth mentioning so get over it. Brad Pitt isn't just the name you will see on the marquee, but he is also largely credited with getting this movie made as it has been a passion project of his for some time.

Marvel Studios Announces Avengers Release Schedule

The Blue Umbrella is a short film from Disney's Pixar Studios that will be seen in front of Monsters University during its theatrical release.

If all Pixar ever did was put out short films, they would still be one of the most respected movie studios in the world. From Luxo, Jr and Geri's Game to BURN-E and La Luna, they have created such an amazing catalog of short films, it makes you wonder just how they keep doing it. If you were able to pose that question to anyone at Pixar, they would tell you that the story is what comes first over anything else and The Blue Umbrella is absolutely no exception.

Disney and Pixar studios are back again with what they hope will be yet another box office hit with Monsters University which reunites Billy Crystal and John Goodman as everyone's favorite scary characters along with Helen Mirren, and Aubrey Plaza. Much Ado About Nothing (SIFF 2013) - Movie Review

If you ever find yourself wondering what Joss Whedon does in his spare time when he's not creating hit TV shows or being the mastermind behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe, here is your chance to check out one of the "other" things he has done lately. On Saturday, June 1st, the Seattle International Film Festival held its "Centerpiece Gala" at the Egyptian Theatre in Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle which featured a screening of Twenty Feet from Stardom. The event also included a Q&A session featuring director Morgan Neville and two of the film's subjects, singers Tata Vega and Merry Clayton.
