The Review:
Johannes Roberts was responsible for The Other Side of the Door which I thought was awful. He also made 47 Meters Down which I really liked. Unfortunately, his latest effort falls in line with the former as being a completely uninteresting and pointless waste of time. The characters are so bland there's no chance you are going to care one bit about whether or not they survive.
The violence is surprisingly tame for a rated R movie and there is absolutely no tension, drama, or anything else that would help to qualify this as a horror movie. They even ruin the classic and shocking line from the original by trying to repeat it but in a totally lame and uninteresting way.
Don't bother watching this movie. Even with MoviePass, it's still not worth it.
