The Review:
This is an interesting addition to the Rings series which was originally adapted from the Japanese Ringu films. I like how current technology is integrated into the story, there's a scene involving a flat screen TV that is pretty cool. Things get a little weird once Vincent D'Onofrio's character is introduced and it sort of goes off the rails and stumbles its way to the not so exciting finish. Overall, the movie is entertaining yet fairly predictable and doesn't add a whole lot to the franchise. Worth watching if you're a fan of the series.
